Services
What Ben repairs
Crack repairs
Structural cracks in the face or spine are properly bonded and reinforced, restoring strength without ruining the bat's natural pickup.
Edge repairs
Chipped or cracked edges are rebuilt and reshaped so the bat plays true off the edge again, not just cosmetically patched.
Toe repairs
Splayed or damaged toes are rebuilt and protected, dealing with one of the most common causes of a bat's early retirement.
Handle repairs
Loose, cracked or worn handles are repaired or replaced and regripped, so the bat feels secure and connected through the swing.
Rebinding
Worn or damaged binding around the handle is stripped back and rebound, restoring both looks and structural support.
Sanding & oiling
Careful sanding back and re-oiling on the correct schedule keeps the willow protected and playing at its best.
Knocking-in
Proper, patient knocking-in compresses the fibres and prepares the face to face fast bowling without breaking down early.
Anti-scuff fitting
A fresh anti-scuff sheet, properly fitted, protects the face and extends the life of any repair or refurbishment.
Full refurbishments
Everything above, combined: a complete overhaul that takes a tired bat back to genuinely excellent playing condition.
